Due to the 3 hour early release, students in 1st and 4th period will have a shorter class period than normal. Those in 3rd period will have a normal class period as to allow all student to attend lunch.
1st- After warm-ups, students will participate in small group discussions for 7 minutes about the chapters assigned. They will choose 2 TQE's (Thoughts, Questions, Epiphanies) to share out from their group. From there we will gather into a large group and use the TQE's provided as a jumping off point for our Socratic Seminar on the chapters read. At the end of class students will receive their new reading assignment (Ch. 7-8, pg. 42-49; Ch. 10, pg. 56-58; and Ch. 13, pg. 78-82).
