1st Period - English I
After finishing their warm-ups, students in 1st period English I will be introduced to the story of Emmett Till. From there they will complete a webquest in order to gain background knowledge on Mississippi/the South during the 1950s. This information will help them as we begin our novel study of Mississippi Trial, 1955 later this week.
3rd Period - English III
Once they have completed their warm-up for the day, students in English III will complete a mini-research project. These projects will be presented in class tomorrow.

We will then have a gallery walk in which students rotate from group to group to see what was created. Finally, we will begin reading the first chapter of the novella Anthem by Ayn Rand time permitting.
